We’ve come to the end of a week… a week with i

We’ve come to the end of a week… a week with impossible To Do lists. I took a minute to mark off what’s done, jot down what the day looked like, and enjoy the accomplishments. I also circled tasks I didn’t get to and noted where I rescheduled them to.

My season of managing too many different tasks will come to an end eventually. Right now, while we are starting a school year and I’m still playing catch up on volunteer work for @homeschool_oklahoma, things are overwhelming.

The To Do List that is too much keeps me moving forward. There are all kind of stops and conversations with my sons and husband that aren’t noted. There was fun, relaxed banter among the tasks. It was a good day.

The clock tells me it’s time to stop and get ready or bed. There is tomorrow, and it has it’s own work and rest and blessings in it.

I’ve made it to lesson 10. When I finish this lesson, I’ll be 10% done with the course. My goal is to be 25% done by August 7 because that’s the first day of class. After that, I’ll slow down to two new lessons per week because I’ll have a full tutoring schedule and my Ch4 class to work with.

I’m over here psyching myself up for new challen

I’m over here psyching myself up for new challenges while I homeschool my kids for their junior and senior years.
1. I’ll be directing Classical Conversations Challenge 4 in the fall (must learn physics and calculus)
2. I’m still running my private tutoring business (consistently relearning basics of algebra, geometry, and trig)
3. I should figure out using reels and stories on Instagram, even though I definitely prefer NOT to appear on camera. Since I love to encourage people to not grow weary in mothering and home education, that would be useful.
